Guitsa is a project architect at Gehl who is fascinated with the different social landscapes, and the architecture they inform. This has led her design approach, to always be socially driven with a democratic agenda, promoting equality. Having worked across several countries in Europe, middle east, and Asia she utilizes her knowledge in designing according to different territories and cultures. This has allowed her the opportunity to work at different scales of projects, from architecture and urban planning to detailed interiors and product design. However she has concluded that her main interest lies in working on the earlier phases of urban planning and strategy, where she can still have a bigger impact on people’s daily lives. A main part of her expertise lies in bridging the gap between the two scales of Architecture and urbanism, as well as using her strong communication skills in the several languages she has been working with including French, Arabic, English and Italian.
