Director

Mayra is an urban planner dedicated to advancing social equity through environmental design. As a director at Gehl, she leads urban regeneration and active mobility projects across Latin America and the United States. Marya sees urban transformation as the art of aligning economic and social incentives while seeking the intersection of high aspirations and feasibility. Her project experience spans a wide range of contexts and client types including informal settlement projects, national public space guidelines, masterplanning frameworks, and global placemaking initiatives for leading firms in the technology sector.
